Prime Loss (image 1.1) applies to stations with a suction‑lift intake. It monitors whether pumps retain water in the volutes while the station is idle. This feature requires a wet/dry switch. If the wet switch indicates dry (or the pumps lose prime), the station will return to priming mode.
To verify wet‑switch status, check the main screen next to each pump (Image 1.2): “Wet” indicates ready for normal operation; “Dry” indicates the pump must reprime before starting.

Prime Loss uses three parameters: Prime Loss Delay, Prime Loss Restart Trials, and Prime Loss Restart Delay (image 1.3).
Example: when the wet switch goes dry, the PLC starts a 30‑second Prime Loss Delay and faults. The station remains faulted for 1 minute (Restart Delay) then attempts a restart. This cycle repeats up to 6 restart trials; if the condition persists, the station latches a hard fault and requires on‑site inspection.
